We handpicked then gently whole bunch pressed our Merlot and Cabernet Franc on the 18th March and 29th March respectively. The berries surrendered a pale pink juice that was transferred into stainless steel tanks for cold settling. We then racked the clear juice and inoculated both tanks with our special rosé yeast. Post fermentation we blended our Merlot and Cabernet Franc Rosé portions and a little bit of magic happened.
We believe our 2017 Beach House Rosé is our best yet. The wine is a very pretty pale pink with aromas of fruit salad, watermelon, forest berries and subtle floral notes. A refreshing entry on the palate makes way for enormous amounts of soft red fruit flavours that linger forever on the palate.
