Our 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec is made up of 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc and 27% Malbec. The varieties were hand-picked, de-stemmed and fermented separately in small open topped vats where they were gently hand plunged and pumped over to aid in extracting the maximum amount of flavour and colour from the berries.
Our Cabernet Predominant blend is an attractive and elegant expression of the Gimblett Gravels vineyard from which it came. Loads of dark red fruits, spice and cedar with a touch of dried herb lend a lovely complexity to the wine. Impeccable balance with fine powdery tannins this is drinking wonderfully now but will gain in complexity over the next 10 years or so.
A delicious Cabernet blend that has proven itself time and time again.
